Sitka Gold (TSX-V: SIG; WKN: A2JG70) has presented the final results from the 2025 diamond drilling program at the Rhosgobel discovery, which, according to the company, have once again expanded the known gold mineralization. Rhosgobel is located within the 100% controlled, year-round road-accessible RC Gold Project in the Tombstone Gold Belt of the Yukon, Canada. The latest results reinforce the company’s view that the section drilled in 2025 is mineralized over the entire strike length tested to date – and remains open in all directions!
In addition to gold, Sitka Gold is also focusing on tungsten as a potential by-product. Additional WO₃ results from a selected drill hole and an expanded analysis program are expected to better define the tungsten distribution within the Rhosgobel intrusion. The company is thus combining the publication of the drill results with an outlook for the next phase of work: a fully funded, extensive diamond drilling program is scheduled to commence as early as next month.
Sitka Gold expands Rhosgobel: long gold intervals near the surface
Today’s announcement focuses on two long gold intervals that are relatively close to the surface. Drill hole DDRCRG-25-033 intersected 150.3 meters at 1.49 g/t gold from a depth of 15.8 meters! Within this section, Sitka Gold reports several higher-grade sub-intervals, including 1.7 meters at 26.70 g/t gold and other peak values in short sections. Also significant: DDRCRG-25-029 returned 99.1 meters at 1.33 g/t gold from 19.8 meters, including several sub-intervals with elevated grades, including 2.1 meters at 8.44 g/t gold.
Such wide mineralization intercepts are particularly relevant because they can provide evidence of the continuity of a mineralized system – especially when they occur repeatedly in multiple drill holes. In this context, Sitka Gold emphasizes that all drill holes completed to date at Rhosgobel have intersected reduced intrusion-related gold mineralization (RIRG). The mineralization is associated with various quartz and quartz-tourmaline veins and breccias that cut through the quartz monzonitic intrusion.

Deposit scale in the Clear Creek Intrusive Complex
Rhosgobel is part of the Clear Creek Intrusive Complex (CCIC), a target area within the RC Gold Project that encompasses several zones. Rhosgobel, in this system, is approximately five kilometers south of the Blackjack Zone. According to the company, a total of 43 drill holes totaling 12,722 meters have been drilled at Rhosgobel to date, and drilling has now traced gold mineralization over a strike length of approximately 1.1 kilometers. Sitka also refers to a large surface signature of approximately 2.0 km x 1.5 km, defined by soil samples with gold-in-soil values of over 500 ppb in some cases.
It is also important to note that the gold mineralization begins at the surface, has been traced to depths of more than 400 meters, and remains open in all directions. In practice, this means that the limits of the mineralization have not yet been reached, which opens up scope for new extension drilling and consolidation in key areas.
Of course, Sitka Gold did not only drill at Rhosgobel in the RC Gold Project in 2025. Rather, more than 30,000 meters were drilled within a five-kilometer-long trend from Rhosgobel towards the Blackjack deposit with its existing resource estimate, alone. Evidence of the RIRG system was found at all targets tested, and visible gold was documented in several drill holes. Although such observations are no substitute for laboratory analysis, they are often highlighted in exploration reports as an indicator of the occurrence of gold-bearing structures.
Tungsten as a possible by-product: Sitka Gold investigates further course of action
A second focus of the news is tungsten. Demand for the metal is currently rising sharply, particularly given its importance in applications for the military, aviation, electronics, toolmaking, and construction. Sitka is now reporting additional WO₃ (tungsten trioxide) grades from drill hole DDRCRG-25-004. Three longer sections were identified there: 85.4 meters with 0.138% WO₃ from 94.0 meters, 60.1 meters with 0.134% WO₃ from 202.0 meters, and 35.0 meters with 0.121% WO₃ from 285.0 meters. Within the longer intervals, the company also mentions short sections with significantly higher WO₃ grades.
Geologically, Sitka Gold attributes the tungsten mineralization to scheelite, which is said to occur in submeter to meter-scale quartz and quartz-tourmaline veins as well as in finer, centimeter-wide, “sheeted” quartz veins. In order to reliably determine the tungsten grades, various analytical methods were tested against each other. Sitka Gold cites a lithium borate digestion method with XRF finish as the most reliable method for WO₃; on this basis, additional analysis of approximately 5,500 samples from 32 drill holes has now begun in order to better map the tungsten distribution within the Rhosgobel intrusion.
Next steps in the RC Gold project: resource estimate and 60,000-meter program
Sitka Gold has a clear outlook stemming from the final 2025 results. An initial mineral resource estimate for Rhosgobel is planned for the first quarter of 2026. In parallel, a fully funded 60,000-meter diamond drilling program is scheduled to start next month. According to the company, the aim is to expand the Rhosgobel, Blackjack, and Eiger zones and to further test additional target areas, including Bearpaw and the Pukelman–Contact area.
Sitka Gold is thus positioning the Rhosgobel discovery as a building block within a larger, district-wide exploration approach in the RC Gold Project. The latest drill data provide new insights into the geometry and continuity of the gold mineralization, while also expanding the work program to include the systematic evaluation of tungsten as a potentially relevant associated metal.
