Goliath Resources (WKN A2P063 / TSXV GOT) has released further gold equivalent evaluations from the 2025 drilling program at the Surebet discovery in the Golden Triangle (British Columbia). By including silver, copper, lead, and zinc, the previously communicated pure gold grades in the 56 drill results now available increase by a strong average of 19.6%!
According to the company, across all 110 drill holes of the 2025 season, this results in an average grade appreciation of 16.5% through the inclusion of potential future by-products. Furthermore, Goliath reports that the model of a “stacked” vein and lode system for the Surebet discovery has been significantly expanded based on current data—yet remains open both laterally and at depth.
In the results just released, Goliath highlights a series of particularly high-grade intercepts. As an example, the company founded by CEO Roger Rosmus cites, among others, 24.16 g/t gold equivalent (AuEq) over 7.00 meters in drill hole GD-24-280. Concurrently, Goliath emphasizes interim metallurgical results, a high rate of visible gold in drill cores, and the dimensions and key metrics of the system’s five main zones. For 2026, the company has announced a fully funded drilling program primarily aimed at expanding these zones.
The AuEq intervals particularly highlighted in the announcement include:
- GD-24-280 (drilled in 2024, re-logged in 2025): 24.16 g/t AuEq (24.05 g/t Au, 5.78 g/t Ag) over 7.00 m, embedded within 17.32 g/t AuEq over 10.00 m and 8.35 g/t AuEq over 23.00 m (Bonanza Zone).
- GD-25-319: 30.06 g/t AuEq (29.09 g/t Au, 53.55 g/t Ag) over 4.00 m, within 11.14 g/t AuEq over 10.95 m and 9.48 g/t AuEq over 12.90 m (Golden Gate Zone).
- GD-25-405: 21.33 g/t AuEq over 3.75 m, within 10.74 g/t AuEq over 8.30 m and 8.66 g/t AuEq over 10.30 m (Golden Gate Zone).
- GD-25-332: 20.67 g/t AuEq over 3.87 m, within 13.93 g/t AuEq over 5.75 m (Eldorado Zone).
- GD-25-359: 9.04 g/t AuEq over 5.00 m (Surebet Zone), where the silver component (including 269.16 g/t Ag) is clearly evident.
The selection also demonstrates that Surebet delivers intercepts with very diverse metal mixes: some gold-dominated, some with high silver content, and overall embedded in a system of recurring quartz-sulfide textures.
Model Grows: 156,000 meters of drilling and five main zones with 46 gold-rich lodes
Goliath Resources links the AuEq results with an update on the scale of exploration. According to the company, a total of 92,000 meters were drilled over four seasons from 2021 to 2024, leading to the modeling of a massive, stacked vein system. The 2025 season, with more than 64,000 meters, has further extended the modeled system. In total, over 156,000 meters of drilling have been completed at Surebet.
Goliath also emphasizes that 100% of the holes drilled to date have intersected gold mineralization. The company speaks of over 1,500 pierce points across five main zones, which together comprise 46 mineralized lodes and remain open for expansion. Additionally, it is highlighted that 100% of the drill holes intersected “significant quartz-sulfide mineralization.”
A prominent quality feature reiterated by Goliath is the high rate of visible gold: in the 2025 campaign, 83 out of 110 drill holes (approximately 76%) showed gold visible to the naked eye (VG-NE). Across all drilling to date, 355 out of 386 holes (approximately 92%) contain VG-NE.
In an updated model, Goliath divides the system into five zones, each with characteristic dimensions and lode counts:
- Bonanza Zone: Strike length 1.8 km (NW–SE) and 1.1 km (NE–SW), 5 lodes up to 19 m thick, combined thickness up to 27 m, remains open.
- Surebet Zone: 1.2 km (NW–SE) and 930 m (NE–SW), 9 lodes up to 19 m, combined up to 30 m, open to the SW.
- Golden Gate Zone: 1.3 km (E–W) and 820 m (N–S), 18 lodes up to 14 m, combined up to 49 m, open.
- Whopper Zone: 800 m (N–S) and 450 m (E–W), 12 lodes up to 6 m, combined up to 30 m, open.
- Eldorado Zone: 680 m (E–W) and 700 m (N–S), 2 lodes up to 5 m, combined up to 7 m, open.
As a separate element, Goliath also describes gold-rich Eocene dykes, which are said to extend up to 1.4 km (N–S), with vertical relief up to 890 m, thicknesses up to 25 m, and also with open expansion potential.
Metallurgy and 2026 Outlook: Recovery rates, visible gold, and focus on expansion for Goliath
Another central part of the announcement concerns metallurgical studies. Goliath reports that tests on a composite drill core using a combination of simple gravity processing and flotation resulted in recovery rates of 92.2% for gold, 86.5% for silver, 94.2% for lead, and 96.9% for zinc. With grinding to 327 microns and using gravity methods alone, 48.8% gold and 10.3% silver were already recovered. The announcement explicitly mentions that no cyanide leaching was required to recover gold and silver. Furthermore, it is advantageous that the metallurgy to date shows a benign rock composition without deleterious elements (referencing an earlier announcement from March 1, 2023).
The geological framework is supplemented by the note that high-grade gold at Surebet has been identified in three distinct host rock packages: shallow-dipping, gold-rich quartz-sulfide breccia/stockwork veins; gold-rich Eocene intermediate to felsic dykes; and recently recognized, broader gold-rich zones in calc-silicate altered breccia. From this, Goliath infers the presence of a nearby “motherlode” magmatic source—an causative intrusion that could be feeding the system.
For 2026, Goliath Resources has announced a fully funded drilling program primarily focused on expanding the five main zones. Ongoing data compilation and interpretation are intended to help define target areas—both for further step-outs and for approaching the suspected intrusive source of the system.
