Goldbarren, Lake Victoria Gold

The record-breaking run of the gold price shows no signs of stopping. Just before the Easter holidays, the precious metal climbs above the $3,300 mark for the first time!

The widespread global uncertainty, both political and economic in nature, is leading investors to essentially flee into Gold. Especially as US President Donald Trump recently promoted measures that could lead to existing trade disputes expanding into a full-fledged trade war.

Trump recently ordered investigations into tariffs related to critical minerals. The gold price has now reached more than $3,310 per ounce, rising by over 20% since the beginning of the year.

Goldman Sachs Brings $4,000 per Ounce Gold into Play

And many analysts believe that there is still room for growth! They say investors continue to push capital into ETFs backed by physical gold, and central banks are also continuing to accumulate gold. Experts at Goldman Sachs are now suggesting that the gold price could reach around $4,000 per ounce by mid-2026.

While this would probably not bode well for the state of the world and global economy, it would of course be a true godsend for gold producers worldwide. Even now, gold mining operators like Agnico Eagle Mines (WKN 860325), Barrick Gold (WKN 870450) and Newmont (853823) can work with fantastic margins, and with a gold price $700 higher, these would of course increase substantially once again.

Presumably, gold exploration companies will finally – hopefully sooner – begin to rise across the board, which in our opinion are still criminally neglected by the market for the most part. However, individual gold explorers that have sufficient financial resources and good projects – or especially both – have already started to move.

Among the companies we observe, these include, for example, Sitka Gold (WKN A2JG70), Goliath Resources (WKN A2P063) or also Formation Metals (WKN A3D492), to name a few. You can find more exciting gold companies at https://goldinvest.de/rohstoff-aktien/
