CEO John Passalacqua will be discussing the company’s plans to develop phosphate mineral assets on it’s 1,500 KM2 of land in the Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean region of Quebec to produce high-purity phosphate for the Lithium Iron Phosphate battery industry.
First Phosphate is a company that extracts and purifies phosphate for the lithium iron phosphate battery industry. It aims to produce high-purity material, while adhering to ESG standards and minimizing its carbon footprint. The company plans to integrate vertically, supplying North American LFP battery producers with consistent and secure battery-grade LFP cathode active material. First Phosphate is actively developing over 1,500 square kilometres of land claims in Quebec’s Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean region, which contain rare anorthosite igneous phosphate rock that usually yields high-purity phosphate material without harmful elements.
