Potential keeps growing

At Goliath Resources (WKN A2P063 / TSX V GOT), one high-grade discovery after another is currently being made at the Golddigger project. After Jackpot and Treasure Island, Full Contact is next in line – with a sample containing 101 g/t gold!

CEO Roger Rosmus’ latest discovery consists of a 1.4 kilometer trend along what Goliath calls the “Red Line”, the contact between the Stuhine and Hazelton rock groups. Within this trend are numerous outcrops with samples returning up to 101.13 g/t AuEq (101.00 g/t Au and 10 g/t Ag) and it remains open.

Numerous silicified zones, quartz veins up to 14 meters thick and shear zones grading up to the 101.13 g/t gold equivalent mentioned above, occur over a 700 meter trend at Full Contact. In addition, Goliath geologists have discovered a 70 metre long zone of mineralized quartz veins and breccias in close proximity to the location of this high-grade sample, which remains open in all directions.

Similarities to the Bonanza Zone

Interestingly, the Full Contact discovery has similar geology and alteration to the Bonanza Shear Zone that Goliath has already drilled as part of the Surebet discovery. Full Contact is located on the southern side of Goliath’s Cambia Icefields, 19 kilometers northwest of Surebet, and the new outcrop was only recently exposed as a result of exponential glacial retreat and permanent removal of snowpack. Which suggests potential for further discoveries…

As Goliath points out, Full Contact is also ready for initial drilling and the company believes that a significant new discovery could be quickly proven here. The next steps in the investigation of the 1.4 kilometer long trend would include prospecting, trenching and mapping to define the full extent of the discovery.

As Goliath also stated, numerous additional gold, silver and base metal outcrops have been discovered in the Cambria Icefields claims along the aforementioned Red Line, which will be further explored in 2024 in preparation for future drilling.

Conclusion: Goliath Resources once again proves that the geologists' exploration concept for the Golddigger project is working – and working well. It is becoming increasingly clear that the already well-drilled initial discovery Surebet and the Bonanza and Golden Gate mineralized systems could be just the start of something very big. In any case, 2024 is off to a very promising start for Goliath.
