Continuous Gold Mineralization Over Nearly 680 Meters
Since Sitka Gold (TSXV:SIG; FSE:1RF; OTCQB:SITKF) reported some time ago that they had detected visible gold 40 times over a length of 680 meters in their deepest drill hole to date in the Blackjack gold deposit area, investors have been wildly speculating about the possible grades. Now CEO Cor Coe’s company presents results that should be among the best reported from the Canadian gold sector this year!
As just reported, drill hole DDRCCC-24-068 yielded an impressive 678.1 meters with 1.04 g/t gold from the surface (!), including not only 409.5 meters with 1.36 g/t gold, but also particularly strong gold mineralization at depth. Hole 68 was drilled about 200 meters deeper than any other hole in the Blackjack area to date and showed an incredible 93 meters with 2.57 g/t gold at its end, including 5.5 meters with even 17.59 g/t gold!
Currently, results from six additional diamond core drillings are pending, including the first five drill holes that Sitka conducted in the Rhosgobel Intrusion area about 5 kilometers south of the Blackjack deposit. Visible gold was also observed at numerous points in the drill cores of these holes…
CEO Coe stated: “The results from our recent drilling in the Blackjack Zone continue to underscore the persistence of strong gold values, with hole DDRCCC-24-068 delivering an impressive 678.1 meters of 1.04 g/t gold from surface, including a higher-grade interval of 93.0 meters of 2.57 g/t gold at the bottom of the hole that also contained 5.5 m of 17.59 g/t gold.” He continued: “As the deepest hole ever drilled in this system, hole 68 has significantly expanded Blackjack’s gold mineralization approximately 200 meters below all previous drilling and demonstrates the potential for higher-grade mineralization continuing in a deeper zone that appears to be a higher-grade component of this gold system; current drilling is focused on expanding this exciting new zone. While we eagerly await additional assay results from our drilling at Blackjack, we also look forward to results from our initial drill holes from the Rhosgobel and Pukelman targets, located 5 kilometers south and 2 kilometers southeast of the Blackjack area, respectively. Our systematic approach to drilling continues to unlock substantial value for the RC Gold Project and we are excited to continue advancing this 431 square kilometer contiguous property that has the potential to host multiple multi-million-ounce gold deposits.”

Gold Mineralization Throughout the Entire Drill Hole Length
Sitka had drilled Hole 68 down-dip of the known mineralization system to test the continuity of Blackjack mineralization at depth – and successfully extended it 200 meters below previous Blackjack drilling. As the company emphasizes, Hole 68 was mineralized over its entire length and contained numerous higher-grade intervals. According to the company, this indicates that mineralization in the Blackjack system is becoming stronger at depth!
Second Successful Drilling
Many investors may have overlooked that Sitka was also successful with drill hole DDRCCC-24-067, which investigated the southern extension of mineralization between holes 062 and 058. This hole encountered four broad zones of mineralization and yielded 99.2 meters at 1.01 g/t gold, including 2.5 meters at 18.39 g/t gold!
Longitudinal section through completed drill holes in the Blackjack Zone – significant potential at depth
Conclusion: Hole 68 is – without exaggerating unduly – a monster. But it’s not just the length of mineralization and the strong gold grades for the region that are outstanding. The fact that the drill hole shows the highest gold grades at depth once again highlights the potential of the entire Blackjack system at depth. Not to mention that Sitka has already drilled holes with plenty of visible gold 5 kilometers away in the Rhosgobel Intrusion. Even though the Sitka stock has already risen sharply recently, we therefore believe that, similar to the gold price, there is still considerable potential.
