{kanada_flagge}The share price of Canadian exploration company Brixton Metals (TSXV BBB / WKN A114WV) was able to overcome the lower purple downtrend line, which has existed since January, after several attempts in June. This change in trend became apparent after the gray support line at 0.155 Canadian dollars had held several times.
The excursion above the two averages initially lasted only briefly and led the share price back to the July low – with which the blue upward trend line has now been established. The upmove that started there in the last few days brought the share price back well above the 100-day line and exactly to the cross resistance formed by the 200-day line and the upper violet downtrend line. This is where things get exciting: a breach of this mark (which is also given further significance by the round figure of 20 cents) would be a very positive signal. From 2023, no further chart-technical resistances are discernible above it for the time being.
On the positive side, the 200-day line has been rising steadily throughout the year – and the 100-day line has currently entered a sideways movement as well. However, it has been below the 200-day line again since May – rather negative in chart terms.
The MACD indicator just generated a charttechnical buy signal (blue line crosses red line upwards). The trend indicator consolidated after the June peak, but was just able to prevent a slide into the negative zone below 100 and is now rising again. The Overbought/ Oversold indicator currently managed to avoid being rated as overbought above the mark of two as in June and has already come back a good bit – but shows a rising trend. The Chaikin Money Flow is moving upwards in the green terrain and thus signals increasing capital flow into the share according to its calculation method.
