{kanada_flagge}Goliath Resources’ (TSXV: GOT; FRA: B4IF) Surebet discovery is growing rapidly in all directions. In a step-out drill hole 600 meters from the first drill site, the sixth drill hole overall on the project has also intersected a significant interval of mineralization. The reported drill intercept with quartz-sulfide veins is 61.5 meters long. Significantly, this is the first drill hole from a new drill pad (North Pad) located 600 meters from the first drill pad (Cliff Pad). The results from this “step-out drill hole” provide further evidence of the robustness of the Surebet zone. They further suggest that the Surebet Zone mineralized package may have high continuity. Based on portable XRF measurements, drill hole GD21-006 encountered up to 326 g/t silver, 1.2% copper, 7.16% zinc and 6.77% lead
GD21-006 was drilled directly below the North pad and should have encountered the Principal Vein at 120 meters down hole, however, quartz sulphide veins were intersected from 72.0 meters down hole, with three ~1 meter intervals of more massive quartz sulphides between 79.0 and 80.5 meters, 86.7 and 88.0 meters, and 117.3 and 118 meters down hole.

Drill core from the polymetallic mineralization in the 5 holes of the Cliff Pad has been sent for assaying and initial results from GD21-001 are expected shortly.
Goliath has since mobilized a second drill rig as reported. It will test the “Cloud Nine” target ~900 meters west of Surebet at depth. Goliath intends this drill hole to test whether it is a feeder system for Surebet’s polymetallic mineralization.
A minimum of four fan holes are planned on the North-Pad drilling platform, with additional fan holes planned for the Lower and Upper Waterfall, Main and Central drill sites, as well as the Surebet polymetallic gold-silver zone drill sites. Drill holes at various locations will be used to test the ~1000 meter strike length exposed at surface. The drill campaign will also include step-back drilling to test the mineralized structure to a down-dip extent of 500 meters.
A recent airborne geophysical survey and 3D modeling have identified a large intrusive body to the west, encompassing both the Surebet Zone and the entire surrounding area, which could be a possible driver of the extensive system of high-grade gold-silver mineralization.
Drill holes are planned for ~5,000 meters targeting the extensive high-grade gold-silver Surebet discovery from exposed quartz-sulfide and sulfide occurrences along strike and at depth.
CONCLUSION: Goliath’s success is reminiscent of the proverbial “shooting fish in a barrel.” The mineralization at Surebet is powerful and it appears to be continuous. At least the XRF results suggest that the quartz-sulfide veins also contain higher grade ore. Whether and how much gold is contained, however, cannot be measured by XRF methods. Therefore, the first results are awaited with all the more excitement. But even without assays, Goliath Resources is shaping up to be one of the most exciting discovery stories in British Columbia’s Golden Triangle in a long time.
