{kanada_flagge}Goliath Resources (TSXV: GOT, FRA: B4IF) has again encountered significant wide intercepts containing galena, sphalerite and pyrrhotite, including visible gold, in 100 percent of the drill holes on the Surebet Zone in this year’s drilling campaign at its Golddigger project in British Columbia’s Golden Triangle. 100% of all 68 diamond drill holes with an average width of 14.37 meters hit the expected structurally-bound mineralization in the Surebet Zone. The year before, 24 out of 24 drill holes had already hit it. This brings the total number of drill intercepts with typical Surebet Zone mineralization to 92 holes from 20 different drill stations, while important gaps have been filled. All drill holes together extend the Surebet Zone area to a total of 1.6 square kilometers. Assays for this year’s drilling is pending. For memory: the 24 holes drilled in 2021 contained and averaged 6.29 gpt AuEq (4.35 gpt Au and 104.94 gpt Ag) over 5.87 meters.
Conclusion: Goliath is pursuing the ambitious goal of proving a world-class, high-grade discovery with multi-million ounce gold potential at its Golddigger project in British Columbia. Based on the preliminary results for this year’s drilling season, Goliath appears to be making progress towards its goal. The Surebet discovery continues to grow rapidly and meets all the requirements, including excellent grades over wide mineable widths. The current modeled geometry of the high-grade Surebet zone indicates that the high-grade gold-silver zone can be mined underground using simple gravity. This method is generally very gentle and requires minimal space and is known to be extremely cost effective. Metallurgy also appears to be playing along: Initial tests on selected drill core samples recovered 38.1% gold and 10.5% silver by simple gravity mining. This suggests that a processing scheme involving early gravity recovery should produce considerable gold in the form of doré bars. Gravity recovery is known to be the most cost effective method of gold recovery in the mining industry. Not surprisingly, the project is already attracting the attention of institutions and mining companies. They are definitely On Track With A Major Discovery! We look forward to the upcoming drill assays.

Goliath reports that all holes drilled in the 2022 season have now been successfully completed. The company had expanded the scope of drilling from 24,000 meters to 26,321 meters.
Figure 1: The extent of the Surebet zone is 1.6 km².
Drill core intercepts from Surebet-Zone 2022 tend to be thicker than 2021
Even before the drill core analyses are published, the measured thickness of the drill intercepts from the Surebet Zone allows initial conclusions to be drawn: Drill holes from the 2022 campaign intersected significantly wider visible intervals of classic Surebet Zone mineralization with an average width of 14.37 meters compared to an average width of 5.87 meters in 2021. To date, 48% of the 92 drill holes (or 44) within the 1.6 square kilometer area of the Surebet Zone have intersected intervals greater than 10 meters containing galena, sphalerite and pyrrhotite. In 2021, 25% of drill holes (or 6 of 24) intersected intervals of galena, sphalerite and pyrite greater than 10 metres*, while in 2022, 56% of drill holes (or 38 of 68) intersected intervals of galena, sphalerite and pyrite greater than 10 metres*.
The largest intercept to date within the 1.6 square kilometer Surebet Zone is 194.43 meters from pad 10, which contained significantly higher concentrations of galena, sphalerite and pyrite compared to the 2021 holes. Several holes also intersected a number of surprising mineralized zones with significant concentrations of galena, sphalerite and pyrrhotite. This strongly suggests that classic Surebet mineralization is not limited to the Surebet Zone, which occurs above and/or below the main mineralized zone that outcrops on surface for 1 km on strike and extends up to 1.3 km down dip to the west at Pad 5.
Quinton Hennigh, geological/technical director of Crescat Capital, a strategic investor in Goliath Resources, stated, “The 2022 season appears to have been remarkably successful for Goliath Resources, demonstrating good strategic planning. The thickness of mineralized intercepts appears to be increasing down dip along the prolific Surebet Zone. We eagerly await a wealth of assay results from these visually interesting drill holes.”
Roger Rosmus, founder and CEO of Goliath Resources, added, “We have successfully completed an aggressive expanded drill program this year with over 26,000 meters in 86 holes. The 2022 intercepts in this area have exceeded our expectations as they are much wider on average and visually contain higher concentrations of galena, sphalerite and pyrrhotite than previous years’ intercepts of similar mineralization that had high-grade gold-silver grades. The average thickness of observed mineralization has increased significantly to 14.37 metres in the 68 holes, compared to 5.87 metres in the 24 holes completed in 2021.
