Sonoro Gold release drill results at Cerro Caliche Project showing high-grade gold intercepts
Sonoro Gold CEO Ken Macleod joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share results from the first 24 drill holes of a 10,000-meter drilling program at the Cerro Caliche gold project in Mexico. The company looking to increase the estimated size and grade of the project’s oxide gold mineralization.
Macleod telling Proactive the drilling showed gold mineralized zones of El Colorado and Guadalupe returned multiple higher-grade gold intercepts within larger intervals of high-grade gold mineralization. One hole returning 27.43m averaging 5.36 g/t Au; including 4.57m averaging 7.16 g/t Au; including 4.57m averaging 22.09 g/t Au; including 1.53m averaging 46.5 g/t Au.
Macleod also said drilling is continuing at El Colorado and Guadalupe Zones, which are in the southwestern region of the property.
