{kanada_flagge}With six winter holes drilled from February to March at its advanced Clinton copper VMS project in Quebec, Fancamp Exploration Ltd (TXSV:FNC; FRA: 3F9) has successfully expanded the previously known limits of mineralization. High grade copper values were intersected in two drill holes (CLDD-22-02 and CLDD-22-03).
Hole CLDD-22-02 returned 3.15 meters grading 3.30% Cu and 12.64 g/t Ag, extending the historic “A” lens an additional 100 meters along strike and to a depth of 50 meters below surface. Hole CLDD-22-03 returned 2.00 meters @ 0.54% Cu. Results from another drill hole are pending. A total of 1,294 meters were drilled in February and March of this year.
The Clinton project has already been extensively explored. Fancamp has access to 60,000 meters of historical drill holes. Fancamp is very encouraged by the results and plans to drill further to better assess the size, grade and continuity of the copper-bearing lenses.
About the Clinton Project
The Clinton Project is located approximately 20 km southwest of the town of Megantic, just north of the Main River border and covers approximately 20 km of favorable stratigraphy of the Clinton River volcanic belt. Since exploration began in the early 20th century, the property has been explored under several exploration programs. Since 1953, 62,354 meters of drilling have been completed in 297 drill holes.
The project area hosts a historic resource at 43-101 complex, which is divided into five sulfide lenses A,C,E,F and D, grading 1.52M t at 2.02% Cu and 1.54% Zn.
