Oversubscribed financing officially closed
Element79 Gold (WKN A3EX7N / CSE ELEM) has streamlined its previously extensive project portfolio and has now reduced it to two projects. The main focus is on restarting the Lucero gold and silver mine in Peru and further developing the Clover project in Nevada. The company has now secured additional expertise for the next steps in its development.
Kevin Arias, an expert in finance and corporate development, joins the Board of Directors of Element79 as an advisor and will be responsible for supporting the strategic development of the company, particularly in the area of corporate finance.
Mr. Arias has more than 20 years of experience in the mining, energy and corporate finance sectors and has raised more than $100 million in capital since 2008. Mr. Arias currently serves as a Managing Director at Maple Grove Capital, where he has honed his skills in navigating the complex landscapes of the upstream energy, mining and metals sectors. Previously, he was Vice President of Corporate Relations at Red Eagle Mining, Black Eagle Mining and Slater Mining, as well as working for Dundee Securities Corporation and Scotia McLeod, highlighting his versatility and leadership skills in the industry.
James Tworek, CEO of Element79 Gold, is already looking forward to providing corporate finance and investor relations support as his company grows.
Even before the expert joins the Board of Directors, Element79 has also formally closed a smaller, oversubscribed interim financing of around C$289,000.
