Prospect for additional near-surface mineralisation

Brixton Metals’ (TSX.V: BBB, FSE: 8BX1, WKN: A114WV) partner Ivanhoe Electric Inc. has drilled new step-out holes at the Hog Heaven project. They extend the known mineralisation by 150 metres and underline the great potential of this advanced stage epithermal copper-silver-gold project.

Hog Heaven is located 50 miles southwest of Kalispell, Montana and is operated by Ivanhoe Electric under a definitive earn-in agreement with Brixton. The new step-out drilling started southwest of the last hole (HHD-010) and extended the mineralisation by 150 metres.

Hole HHD-012 intersected a 157 metre interval of high sulphide epithermal mineralisation. This intercept is of similar grade and quality to previously reported holes, indicating that the Hog Heaven epithermal system also has growth potential to the west of the Flathead Mine.

HHD-012 intersected a total of 156.88 metres at a depth of 282.12 metres with 0.34 g/t gold, 18.77 g/t silver, 0.09% copper, 0.24% lead and 0.22% zinc. In total, this 156.88 metre long zone has an average metal content equivalent to 0.85 g/t gold.

Prospect for additional near-surface mineralisation

At 282.12 metres, a zone also begins in which the mineralisation is more pronounced, as here the gold content increases to 0.40 g/t and the silver content to 29.51 g/t over a length of 49.92 metres. The copper content improves to 0.11% and the lead content increases to 0.40%, while the zinc content remains the same at 0.22%, so that the total mineralisation corresponds to a gold equivalent of 1.22 g/t.

Hole HHD-012 has thus been successful in opening up a large new area and opens up the prospect of encountering additional near-surface high sulphidation epithermal mineralisation and the underlying porphyry source, as the mineralisation intersected by HHD-012 remains open in multiple directions and to depth.

Brixton Metals Chairman and CEO, Gary R. Thompson, stated that Ivanhoe Electric’s Typhoon™ geophysical survey has also been very successful, identifying a strong conductor approximately one square mile in size in the south-central area of the project. Only a few wells have been drilled there so far.
