First Phosphate adds 15-year mining executive Armand MacKenzie to company’s advisory board
First Phosphate Corp CEO John Passalacqua joined Steve Darling from Proactive to announce the appointment of Armand MacKenzie, a seasoned mining executive, to the company’s Advisory Board. MacKenzie, who also holds a legal background, previously served as the chief legal advisor on land rights for the Innu Nation. He played a significant role as a special advisor and negotiator in the development and adoption of the UN General Assembly Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples. Over the past 15 years, MacKenzie has gained extensive experience in the mining industry.
Passalacqua elaborated on the decision to bring MacKenzie on board, highlighting the importance of his expertise for First Phosphate’s projects in Quebec.
Passalacqua expressed confidence in MacKenzie’s ability to contribute significantly to the company’s initiatives, particularly regarding the development of the Lac à l’Orignal and Bégin-Lamarche projects.
