Victoria's Geologie ist 100 Mal goldreicher als weltweiter Durchschnitt

Kalamazoo's Hauptprojekt Castlemaine befindet sich in der Bendigo Zone, in der bisher +60 Millionen Goldunzen produziert wurden. Die Teilprojekte Tarnagulla, South Muckleford und Castlemaine erstrecken sich über 70 Quadrratkilometer. Auch die beiden Nachbarzonen - Stawell Zone und Melbourne Zone - können Goldproduktionen über bisher +10 Millionen Goldunzen vorweisen. Auf Castlemaine wurden in der Vergangenheit immerhin auch 5,6 Millionen Unzen gefördert. Historische Bohrungen auf dem Projektgebiet erreichten damals nur Tiefen von 130 Metern und geophysikalische Exploration wurde dort zuletzt in den 1960er Jahren gemacht. Man kann also getrost behaupten, daß moderne Explorationsarbeiten dort viel Neues hervorbringen werden. Kalamazoo's Nachbar, Kirkland Lake Gold, produziert in seiner Fosterville Mine schon einige Zeit.

Im 3. Quartal 2019 wurden 158.000 Goldunzen hergestellt. 6,7 Millionen Unzen Goldressourcen konnten auf Fosterville in 2,72 Millionen Unzen Goldreserven umgewandelt werden. Diese hohe Quote war nur mit dem hohen Goldgehalt von 31 g/t zu machen. Auch die historische Produktion auf Kalamazoo's Castlemaine war angeblich hochgradig. Geologen raten, sich dort aus Kostengründen auf hochgradige Lagerstätten zu konzentrieren. Kalamazoo Resources beginnt nun mit modernen Explorationsmethoden Goldvererzungen in größeren Tiefen zu erkunden. Die historische Goldproduktion auf Castlemaine förderte von Untertage immerhin Goldgehalte von 11,1 g/t. Parallel dazu verlaufen oberflächennahe Explorationsarbeiten. Geophysik und Analysen von Gesteinsproben nach modernsten Methoden werden bald in konkrete Bohrziele münden.

Weitere Explorationsprojekte des Unternehmens befinden sich in Westaustralien in der Pilbara Region. Die Teilprojekte von Kalamazoo, Dom's Hill, Cork Tree und Marble Bar, erstrecken sich über 250 Quadratkilometer. Sie befinden sich dabei mit den Nachbarn Novo Resources (TSX.V: NVO), Artemis (ASX: ARV), De Grey Mining (ASX: DEG), Venturex Resources (ASX: VXR), Impact Minerals (ASX: IPT), DGO Gold (ASX: DGO) und Calidus (ASX: CAI) in bester Gesellschaft.

Angus Middleton
Non-Executive Director
Angus is a fund manager and former stockbroker with extensive experience in Australia’s capital markets. He is currently a Director of SA Capital Pty Ltd, a corporate advisory firm specialising in equity raisings and underwriting; and the Managing Director of SA Capital Funds Management Limited, an Adelaide-based investment fund involved in advising and raising equity for corporations in the form of venture capital, seed capital, private equity, pre-initial public offerings and Initial Public Offerings.

Paul Adams

Paul has an Honours degree in Geology and has 18 years’ experience in the mining industry in exploration, open pit, underground and operational roles, both in Australia and overseas. He was Chief Mine Geologist and Evaluations Manager at Placer Dome’s Granny Smith Mine in Western Australia, 2IC and production coordinator at the giant Porgera Gold Mine in Papua New Guinea and has held senior geology roles at Australian Gold Mines Ltd and Dominion Mining. He has an additional 12 years’ experience as Director – Head of research and Natural resources at DJ Carmichael Pty Ltd, a Perth-based stockbroking and wealth management company, specialising in small -t mid-cap resource companies. Paul has experience in evaluating and valuing a range of projects and companies across a range of commodities. Paul holds a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Financial Services Institute of Australia.

Bernard Crawford
Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary
Bernard is a Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in the resources industry in Australia and overseas. He has held various positions in finance and management with NYSE, TSX and ASX-listed companies. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Western Australia, a Master of Business Administration from London Business School and is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and the Governance Institute of Australia.

Lance Govey
Exploration Manager – Western
Lance is a geologist with over 40 years’ experience in exploration and mining across Australia, Indonesia, Zambia and the Philippines, predominantly for gold but including alluvial tin, copper and emeralds. Lance served as Principal Geologist-WA for Normandy Mining, Executive Technical Director for Red 5 (10 years), Managing Director for Triton Gold Limited, Exploration Manager for Monument Murchison Pty Ltd and operated as a Consultant Geologist (4 years). In the Philippines, he played a key role in management of the DFS for the now operating Siana gold mine.

Luke Mortimer
Exploration Manager – Eastern
Luke is a geologist with over 25 years’ experience in exploration and mining at various locations across Australia, China, Africa and the Americas. He has served the majority of his experience as Geoscientist-Technical Leader with WMC Exploration Division as well as Principal Exploration Geologist with MMG exploring for copper, nickel, zinc and gold. During this time he also gained valuable underground mining experience (4 years) at WMC’s (now BHP) world-class Olympic Dam and Perseverance mines in Australia. Over the years he has successfully implemented and managed numerous multi-million dollar grassroots exploration programs worldwide. Luke holds a BSc (Honours) and a PhD in geology.
