Visible gold in all drill holes

Golden Cariboo Resources (CSE GCC / WKN A402CQ) has recently drilled intersections of gold mineralization in the Halo Zone of its Quesnelle Quartz Gold Mine (QGQ) gold project, which could be a game changer for the comparatively small gold company.

Among other things, a spectacular 136.51 meters with 1.77 g/t gold were encountered! That and other results were preceded by the observation that the drill cores from the Halo Zone all contained visible gold in numerous places. This is not always synonymous with strong gold mineralization but, as in this case, is often an important indication.

Once again visible gold in all drill holes

The Golden Cariboo team is now naturally hoping to achieve similar success with the next drill holes at Halo. And as the company has just reported, visible gold and extensive quartz-carbonate veins have also been observed in the current drill holes QGQ24-16, QGQ24-17, QGQ24-18 and QGQ24-19.

As Golden Cariboo explained, drill hole QGQ24-18 has already been completed and reached a depth of 483.41 meters. Drill hole QGQ24-19 is still being worked on and has so far reached a depth of 72.24 meters. The results of the laboratory analyses will take some time, yet.

Golden Cariboos CEO Frank Callaghan is understandably very pleased that his technical team has observed visible gold and extensive quartz veining in all four new drill holes. They are getting a better and better picture of the geometry of the system and are now systematically exploring its large gold-bearing trends. As the company sees exceptional potential along these trends, they are currently working at full speed to expand the Halo Zone, which is open in all directions, initially to the north with drill hole QGQ24-19. Promising veins, extensive alteration and visible gold veining have also been encountered. Overall, according to CEO Callaghan, initial indications point to a robust gold system with the potential for high-volume mining from surface.

We are certainly looking forward to the next drilling results, especially at a time when the gold price is still above USD 2,700 per ounce.
