What is Aston Bay's main goal?
Aston Bay focuses on the discovery and development of high-grade copper and gold deposits in North America. With partners such as American West Metals and Ocean Partners, it pursues a strategic exploration model with a focus on Storm Copper and Virginia gold projects.
How is the stake in the Storm Copper Project structured?
Storm is operated in a 20/80 JV (Aston Bay holds 20%, American West Metals 80%). Aston Bay is financially carried until the construction permit, after which, in the event of non-participation, the share converts into a 2% NSR royalty.
What does the current financing for 2025 include?
Ocean Partners plans to finance up to 80% of the development investments plus a US$2 M private placement. Taurus Royalty provides the second tranche (US$3.5 M). This secures the PFS preparation.
What milestones are coming up?
A PEA with detailed economic data is expected in Q3/2025. At the same time, large-scale summer drilling is underway along the 110 km copper structure, as well as club drilling on extensions (Cyclone Deeps etc.).
