At the Randy’s Pit target zone of the Tapanahony Gold Project in Suriname, Sranan Gold (CSE: SRAN, FSE: P84K, WKN: A416C1) has successfully expanded the mineralized zones through drilling. Attractive gold grades were not only drilled, but this was also achieved over considerable distances. Highlights of the results now presented include 2.44 g/t gold over a remarkable 22.4 meters in hole 25RADD-006 and 1.68 g/t gold over 19 meters in hole 25RADD-009.
Within the drilling carried out, Sranan Gold repeatedly encountered zones that proved to be particularly richly mineralized. They not only make the hearts of geologists and invested investors beat faster, but also significantly increase the average grades of the total mineralized zones. This lays a solid foundation for a profitable economic mining of these ores in the future.
Within drill hole 25RADD-005, for example, a one-meter-wide zone was encountered at a drilling depth of 84.5 meters, in which the average gold content increased from 1.31 g/t gold over twelve meters to an attractive 9.63 g/t gold. Sranan Gold was able to report a similar finding from drill hole 25RADD-006. This drill hole averaged 2.44 g/t gold over a total length of 22.4 meters. At a drilling depth of 105 meters, however, this average gold content increases to a high of 16.43 g/t gold over a length of one meter.
The picture presented in drill hole 25RADD-009 was comparable. A total of two mineralized zones were intersected. The first begins at a depth of 87 meters and contains an average of 1.4 g/t gold over five meters, while the second section begins at a depth of 114 meters and contains an average of 1.68 g/t gold over 19 meters. However, this second section is much more inconsistent, as the gold content rises to an impressive 24.71 g/t gold over one meter between 120 and 121 meters.
The latest drilling successes confirm Sranan Gold’s geological model
The latest drilling successes are not entirely unexpected. They extend the known mineralization in strike direction, but also towards the depth and thus represent a continuation of the ore bodies, which was quite to be expected in these directions. They were preceded by drillings, such as the 3.0 g/t gold over a length of 64.0 meters, which Sranan Gold had reported, for example, in November 2025 with the drilling 25RADD-004.
In total, Sranan Gold has now completed over 3,000 meters of drilling in the Randy’s Pit target area. With them, the company succeeded in proving the continuity of the 4.5 kilometer long Randy-Poeketi gold trend. In addition, each successfully completed drilling impressively underlines the potential of this deposit. Not only was the continuation of a broad shear corridor confirmed, which is composed of numerous zones with increased mineralization.
In addition, three further mineralizations were identified, which run parallel to this broad, central shear corridor. The 19-meter-long section in drill hole 25RADD-009 is particularly important at this point because it indicates an additional broad zone with continuous mineralization north of Randy’s Pit. However, the assumptions that Sranan Gold had previously made regarding the continuity and depth of the mineralizations already identified were also confirmed. Therefore, a vertical and lateral continuity of the gold mineralization had been expected in the run-up to the drilling. This geological assumption has now been impressively confirmed by the new drillings.
Dr. Dennis LaPoint, Vice President of Exploration and Business Development for the Company, commented: “We are very pleased with the continued expansion of the mineralized trend at Randy’s Pit along strike and at depth. The high grades are positive for future development as we continue to expand the mineralization at Randy’s Pit to the north.”
Bright prospects for 2026 and the future
Shortly before the end of 2025, Sranan Gold is thus presenting its shareholders with an early Christmas present. It not only confirms the company’s geological model, but also underlines the potential for the future, as the Tapanahony Gold Project covers an area of 29,000 hectares and is known for the artisanal mining that has been practiced here for a long time.
Artisanal miners follow with the simple means available to them, mostly the veins and structures that they can recognize on the surface. For companies like Sranan Gold, their successes are therefore important indications and clues as to where the search for gold on the project should be intensified with the support of modern technical and geophysical tools.
Sranan Gold consistently follows this approach and has great success. This success not only shows that the geological theses used are correct and the path taken is right. They also make you want more, which results in an overall very positive and encouraging outlook for 2026 and the following years.
