Sranan Gold (CSE: SRAN; FSE/Tradegate: P84) announces strong results from the latest core drilling from the Randy’s Pit target area on the Tapanahony Gold Project in Suriname. The company encountered gold mineralization in all four diamond drill holes of the ongoing 10,000-meter drilling program. Drill hole 25RADD-004 particularly impressed with 64.0 meters at 3.0 g/t gold, including 5.0 meters at 33.5 g/t and 1.0 meter at 145.4 g/t!
According to Sranan, visible fine gold was observed in the quartz vein in a section from 167 to 168 meters. According to Sranan Gold, the data indicates that the gold mineralization continues not only in the weathered saprolite zone, but also in the underlying bedrock – a significant finding.
The results now published come from a section of the campaign. At the same time, Sranan Gold refers to previously reported surface and trench sampling, which already yielded high grades and defined the current drilling target.

Sranan Gold: Overview of the Results of the First Four Drill Holes
Reported in September, 25RADD-001 delivered 11.5 m at 3.6 g/t gold, including 1.4 m at 21.1 g/t gold. Follow-up drill hole 25RADD-002 intersected 13.5 m at 1.8 g/t gold. In 25RADD-003, two zones were drilled: 5.0 m at 5.6 g/t gold and 10.5 m at 2.7 g/t gold. The best hole to date, 25RADD-004, contains several sections, including 8.1 m at 1.2 g/t gold, 3.6 m at 7.9 g/t gold, 6.0 m at 1.9 g/t gold, 15.0 m at 1.2 g/t gold and the core section of 64.0 m at 3.0 g/t gold with the high-grade sub-intervals mentioned above.
The shear structure at the Randy’s Pit target is currently estimated to be at least 150 meters thick and is being drilled along the strike and at depth. According to Sranan Gold, mineralization has been encountered in boreholes down to at least 120 meters vertical depth. The team classifies these results as the first evidence of a coherent system, which will now be gradually fanned out along the strike and tested by step-out drilling at depth.
Geology: Orogenic Gold Mineralization in the Guiana Shield
Petrographically, the core from the bedrock sections shows a distinct silica-sericite-ankerite alteration in basaltic host rocks. These are sheared into proto-mylonitic to mylonitic rocks and traversed by grey-white quartz-carbonate veins that are transposed with the shear texture. Pyrite and pyrrhotite occur on shear surfaces, vein margins and in late cracks. In the saprolite zone, oxidized sulphide “boxworks” and sugary quartz veins are visible. The recorded shear zones strike NNW and dip to the west – characteristics that are typical of orogenic gold systems in the Guiana Shield.
This geological framework is essential for planning further drilling: The structural control influences both the distribution of higher-grade zones and potential bulk-tonnage domains. Sranan Gold intends to delineate the deformation history and geometry of the system more precisely in order to test the continuity of individual lenses and veins along the trend.
Outlook: Randy–Poeketi Trend and Next Steps for Sranan Gold
Randy’s Pit is part of an approximately 4.5-kilometer trend towards the Poeketi area, which is located approximately 3 kilometers northwest. Historical and 2025 reported samples support target definition along this corridor: In the Randy’s Pit area, prospecting samples with up to 76.6 g/t gold and 5.0 m at 36.6 g/t gold in trench samples were reported, among others; trench samples from Poeketi contain up to 108 g/t and 84 g/t gold (each according to previous company announcements). These data set reference points for step-out and infill drilling, which are intended to supplement the current program.
According to the company, the zone below Randy’s Pit has not yet been systematically pursued at depth. The next drillings are therefore aimed at strike extensions and depth extensions. The aim is to precisely define the geometry of the mineralized shear zones and to better classify the resource potential of the individual target zones along the trend.
Conclusion: Sranan Gold has already delivered a first-class discovery with almost 200 gram-meters in the 4th drill hole after not even 2,000 meters of drilling on its Tapanahony project, and that near the surface. The successful drill hole is located around 100 meters north of the small-scale mining operated by the local population and approx. 200 meters from the recent discovery of a trench with high-grade material (>76 g/t gold) away. So far, Sranan has only one of its two drilling rigs in operation. The second will soon be used further north near the Poeketi open-cast mine, which is around 3 kilometers northwest along the same structure. The great role model for Sranan Gold is Founders Metals. Goldfields recently invested CAD 50 million there. The gold-rich Suriname is obviously very popular with producing gold companies.
