Sitka Gold (TSX-V: SIG / FSE: 1RF) reports strong drilling results once again from its RC Gold Project in Canada’s Yukon! The new data from the Blackjack area expands the known extent of gold mineralization, extends the Saddle Zone, also indicates a deeper, higher-grade zone at Saddle, and provides a new mineralized area with Blackjack South approximately 300 meters south of the current resource boundary – all within the conceptual pit shell of the Blackjack gold deposit!
Sitka Gold: Strong Drill Intercepts Extend Blackjack Mineralization
The current announcement from Sitka Gold focuses on several drill holes in the Blackjack deposit area. Drill hole DDRCCC-25-099 is particularly highlighted, which intersected 310.0 meters averaging 0.61 grams of
Another important drill hole in the Blackjack area is DDRCCC-25-102. Sitka Gold reports 191.8 meters of 0.65 grams of gold per tonne here, including a 24.3-meter thick section with 2.33 grams of gold per tonne. This includes 6.0 meters of 6.45 grams of gold per tonne and a two-meter interval of 9.01 grams of gold per tonne. Both drill holes are located outside the previous southwestern edge of the resource, thus extending the known gold mineralization in this direction!
According to Sitka Gold, other drill holes such as DDRCCC-25-095 also contribute to the expansion of the Blackjack model. The hole yielded several higher-grade intervals, including 11.8 meters of 1.67 grams of gold per tonne and 7.0 meters of 7.63 grams of gold per tonne. The drill cores show an interplay of gold-bearing ‘sheeted’ quartz veins in metasedimentary rocks and a highly altered, megacrystalline quartz monzonite intrusion, which, according to the company, underscores the character of the Blackjack deposit system. All reported widths refer to drill core lengths; the true widths cannot yet be reliably determined due to insufficient drill density.

Saddle Zone Hosts Near-Surface Gold Within the Blackjack Pit
The Saddle Zone also plays a significant role in Sitka Gold’s current drilling campaign, which lies within the conceptual pit shell of the Blackjack deposit but has not yet been included in the resource estimate. Drill hole DDRCCC-25-104 intersected 44.4 meters averaging 1.33 grams of gold per tonne from a depth of only 4.6 meters here. Within this section are 10.0 meters of 2.14 grams of gold per tonne and 2.0 meters of 3.86 grams of gold per tonne. This further extends the near-surface gold mineralization in the Saddle area to the west and increases the strike length of the zone to approximately 300 meters.
Further drilling, including DDRCCC-25-098, indicates that a second, deeper, higher-grade mineralization could be present below the near-surface zone. Sitka Gold refers here to 4.0 meters of 3.90 grams of gold per tonne from a depth of 142.0 meters. Previous holes in the Saddle Zone had already identified additional deeper zones ranging from one to four meters in width and grades exceeding one gram of gold per tonne.
According to the company, the Saddle Zone has the potential to contribute additional ounces within the existing pit outline of the Blackjack gold deposit in the future, especially since part of the mineralization begins directly at the surface. Geologically, Sitka Gold describes the zone as a combination of gold-bearing veins and rock bodies (dykes and sills) that cut through both the intrusion and the surrounding metasedimentary host rock.
New Target Area Blackjack South within the Conceptual Pit
In addition to expanding the known areas, Sitka Gold has identified a new mineralized target area within the RC Gold Project with Blackjack South. This area is located approximately 300 meters south of the current Blackjack resource outline, but still within the conceptual pit shell. Drill hole DDRCCC-25-110 intersected 44.5 meters of 0.70 grams of gold per tonne from a depth of 152.0 meters here. This section includes 8.8 meters of 1.18 grams of gold per tonne and another interval of 2.0 meters of 4.07 grams of gold per tonne.
According to the company, the drill cores show a new, megacrystalline quartz monzonite vein, accompanied by gold-bearing ‘sheeted’ quartz veins. These cut through both the intrusion and the adjacent metasedimentary rocks. Another drill hole in the Blackjack South area, DDRCCC-25-108, yielded 36.0 meters of 0.30 grams of gold per tonne and a two-meter interval of 1.02 grams of gold per tonne. Sitka Gold considers these results as confirmation that Blackjack South represents an independent exploration target within the planned pit that should be further pursued.
The observation that gold occurs in both the intrusive rock and the surrounding metasedimentary package fits the general picture of the Clear Creek Intrusive Complex, where the RC Gold Project is located. The new zone thus fits into a series of targets that Sitka Gold has identified within this complex.
RC Gold in the Tombstone Gold Belt: District Approach with Multiple Targets
According to Sitka Gold, a total of 26 drill holes totaling approximately 10,494 meters were completed in the Blackjack area in 2025, along with eleven drill holes totaling 2,918 meters in the Saddle Zone. The RC Gold Project encompasses the Clear Creek Intrusive Complex, which, in addition to Blackjack, also contains the Eiger deposit and other target zones such as Rhosgobel, Pukelman, Bear Paw, and Contact. These targets are spread over an area of approximately five kilometers north-south and twelve kilometers east-west and are accessible via an internal road network.
Sitka Gold describes RC Gold as an emerging district-scale gold camp with multiple deposits and target areas in the Yukon’s Tombstone Gold Belt. The current results from Blackjack, Saddle, and Blackjack South are intended to be incorporated into future considerations for updating the resource estimate, even though no new resource calculations have been presented to date. The company plans to conduct further geological work and drilling in 2025 to advance additional anomalies indicated by soil samples to drill-ready status.
Sitka CEO Cor Coe states in the announcement that the latest drilling results demonstrate the potential to expand the mineralized envelope of the Blackjack deposit within the conceptual pit and, particularly in the Saddle Zone, to define additional near-surface gold mineralization. At the same time, Sitka Gold emphasizes that all described sections are to be interpreted as drill core lengths and that further drilling is required for reliable modeling of true widths. The extent to which the new sections can later be incorporated into the resource estimate will become clear as the exploration program at the RC Gold Project in the Yukon progresses.
