With the first two drill results of 2025 at the new Rhosgobel target on the RC Gold Project in the Yukon, Sitka Gold Corp. (TSX-V:SIG; FSE:1RF; OTCQB:SITK) has spectacularly followed up on the success of its two discovery drill holes 001 and 002 from last year. The first two drill holes analyzed in 2025 at Rhosgobel returned mineralized intervals of 152.1 m at 1.00 g/t Au from surface, including 9.0 m at 4.23 g/t Au and 10.0 m at 2.75 g/t Au in drill hole DDRCRG-25-003, and 114.8 m at 1.11 g/t Au from surface, including 8.6 m at 3.50 g/t Au from 41.0 m in drill hole DDRCRG-25-005. This means that all four diamond drill holes evaluated to date at Rhosgobel, including the two discovery drill holes drilled in 2024, have intersected more than 100 grams per meter (g/t*m) gold. Sitka therefore believes that Rhosgobel is the third intrusion-related gold deposit in the RC Gold Project in the Yukon, following Blackjack and Eiger. Two drill rigs are currently operating at Rhosgobel, with 18 drill holes completed to date and visible gold identified in 14 of the 18 completed drill holes. Results for 14 drill holes are still pending. The Rhosgobel drill target is located approximately 5 km south of Blackjack. It is a large near-surface gold deposit roughly defined by a 1.5 km x 2 km gold-in-soil anomaly with values up to >500 ppb gold. Ten thousand meters of drilling is planned for Rhosgobel during the current season.
This year’s drilling program totals 30,000 meters. To date, 21,347 meters have been completed in 58 drill holes, with four drill rigs currently operating in the Clear Creek Intrusive Complex. Results for 43 completed drill holes in the Blackjack-Saddle-Eiger zone and the Rhosgobel and Pukelman targets are pending. Drilling has also recently commenced at the Pukelman Intrusion, located approximately 2.5 km southeast of the Blackjack deposit. Two drill rigs are currently operating at Pukelman, where previous drilling has intersected, among other things, a 10.7-meter mineralized interval grading 20.46 g/t gold. (see press release dated June 24, 2024), indicating the potential for another reduced intrusion-related gold deposit. Diamond drilling of up to 5,000 meters is planned to be completed at Pukelman this year.
Cor Coe, CEO and Director of Sitka Gold, commented: “The strong gold results from the first drilling at Rhosgobel this summer are very encouraging and further confirm both the extent and strength of the gold mineralization present in what appears to be a highly prospective gold system within the Clear Creek Intrusive Complex. Results such as those from DDRCRG-25-003 indicate that the Rhosgobel intrusion target hosts gold grades comparable to those at the Blackjack gold deposit located 5 kilometers to the north. In addition, every drill hole reported to date at Rhosgobel, including last year’s discovery drill holes 001 and 002 and the drill holes in this press release, has returned intersections of more than 100 grams per tonne (grams per tonne*meter) gold, confirming that another intrusion-related gold deposit has been discovered. Given the visible gold in most of the drill holes completed at Rhosgobel, the surface-starting gold mineralization, and a broad gold anomaly in the soil extending approximately 2.0 km by 1.5 km, the potential of this target zone is quite significant.”

Figure 1: Cross-section of drill holes DDRCRG-25-003 and 004. Assay results show strong gold values, averaging 1.00 g/t gold over 152.1 m from surface in drill hole 003, while numerous instances of visible gold in drill hole 004 indicate that gold mineralization remains within this intrusion target, which remains open in all directions.

Figure 2: Cross-section of drill holes DDRCRG-25-005, 006, and 011. All drill holes intersected similar mineralization, with the outstanding results for drill hole 005 and multiple visible gold occurrences for drill holes 006 and 011 shown.

The drill holes are based on previous shallow reverse circulation drilling from 1995, which was not pursued further until the completion of Sitka’s initial diamond drilling in 2024. The target is supported by a large 2.0 km x 1.5 km gold-in-soil anomaly covering the central part of the intrusion.

Conclusion
Sitka Gold is well on track to achieve its target of 30,000 meters of drilling in the current season. The company has already completed 21,347 meters of drilling in 58 drill holes as of early August. Forty-three drill results are still pending publication. By way of comparison, in the five years between 2020 and 2024, Sitka Gold drilled a total of only 72 holes and 25,136 drill meters, which was sufficient to prove an extensive resource in the Blackjack and Eiger deposits. Blackjack has 1,291,000 ounces of gold in 39,962,000 tons with a grade of 1.01 g/t gold in an indicated category and 1,044,000 ounces of gold in 34,603,000 tons with a grade of 0.94 g/t in an inferred category. Eiger has now reached 440,000 ounces of gold in 27,362,000 tons with a grade of 0.50 g/t gold in an inferred category. Sitka is not content to simply manage and expand its existing discoveries, but is adding new discoveries in the immediate vicinity. Rhosgobel is the third intrusion-related gold deposit on the Clear Creek Complex after Blackjack and Eiger. The target has a geological footprint larger than that of Blackjack. Fourteen drill results from Rhosgobel are still pending for release. The vast majority of drill holes at Rhosgobel have returned visible gold, which has regularly been a good sign of good results at Blackjack. The Pukelman target, halfway between Blackjack and Rhosgobel, could yield another discovery this year. Five thousand meters will be drilled at this target for the first time. Sitka Gold guarantees its investors an exciting summer.
