Sitka Gold (TSX-V: SIG; Frankfurt: 1RF) reports another round of strong drill results from the newly discovered Rhosgobel target on its 100% owned RC Gold Project in the Yukon. Drill holes RCRG25-010 and -009 confirmed the remarkable continuity of the system: DDRCRG-25-010 returned from surface (!) 235.9 m at 1.11 g/t gold, including 40.0 m at 2.01 g/t gold and 10.0 m at 5.29 g/t gold – the best intersection to date from the Rhosgobel target and a clear upside outlier at 262.6 gm (gram meters). DDRCRG-25-009 returned 118.0 m at 1.09 g/t gold from surface, including 14.0 m at 3.34 g/t. Noteworthy: All 10 diamond drill holes drilled to date in this area have returned >100 gm over approximately 300 m strike length!
Sitka Gold’s Rhosgobel Target is Rapidly Growing
By 2025, Sitka had already completed 42 drill holes at Rhosgobel, totaling 12,722 meters spread over approximately 1.1 km of strike length, with visible gold observed in 26 of the 32 holes yet to be reported. Project-wide, the results of a further 30 diamond drill holes from the Blackjack, Saddle, Eiger, Pukelman, Contact, Bear Paw, and MayQu targets are also pending. In total, Sitka drilled approximately 32,000 meters of RC gold this year, although only 30,000 meters were actually planned.
According to the company, the results confirm the continuity of high-grade, near-surface gold values – and Rhosgobel is increasingly emerging as a potential flagship deposit.

At the same time, and somewhat surprisingly, a second metal is gaining in importance: New analyses from drill hole DDRCRG-24-002 indicate relevant tungsten grades – up to 75.50 m at 0.132% WO₃, 6.98 m at 0.388% WO₃, and 0.61 m at 4.739% WO₃. Visible scheelite, a common tungsten mineral, has already been observed in many drill holes in quartz and quartz-tourmaline veins; narrow high-grade zones sit within broader low-grade zones. The company is reviewing additional analytics to better understand the by-product potential for future gold production.
Geologically, Rhosgobel’s Profile is Consistent
All 43 holes drilled to date at Rhosgobel intersected RIRGS-type mineralization (quartz to quartz-tourmaline veins, partly brecciated) in a feldspar-rich, megacrystalline quartz monzonite intrusion. Gold mineralization begins at surface, extends to date to over 400 m depth, has been proven along ~1.1 km and remains open in all directions – embedded in a 2.0 × 1.5 km surface signature with gold-in-soil values to >500 ppb. In addition, the first ten diamond drill holes – including the two discovery holes from 2024 – each returned >100 g*m.
Conclusion: Rhosgobel not only continues to deliver consistent, near-surface gold intersections over significant thicknesses, but now also brings an attractive by-product option into play with tungsten – even if one drill result does not yet make Almonty Industries. With numerous results still pending – including 32 holes in Rhosgobel alone – the chances are good that Sitka will keep the news flow high and further substantiate the resource potential at RC Gold.
