Fully Funded for 30,000 Drilling Meters in 2025!
Sitka Gold (WKN A2JG70 / TSXV SIG) has once again delivered a series of drill results exceeding the magical mark of 100 gram/meters of gold on its RC Project in Yukon during the past 2024 exploration season.
Highlights included 191.0 m of 1.16 g/t gold from 327 m in DDRCCC-24-057 including 54.6 m of 2.54 g/t gold from 453.4 m; 154.0 m of 1.47 g/t gold from 354.0 m in DDRCCC-24-058 including 37.0 m of 3.07 g/t gold from 449.0 m; 290.5 m of 1.10 g/t gold from 236.0 m in DDRCCC-062 including 105.0 m of 1.68 g/t gold from 421.6 m; 99.2 m of 1.01 g/t gold from 448.5 m in DDRCCC-24-067; 678.1 m of 1.04 g/t gold from 4.4 m in DDRCCC-24-068 including 93.0 m of 2.57 g/t gold from 589.5 m; 85.0 m of 1.12 g/t gold from 433 m in DDRCCC-24-072; and 119.0 m of 1.05 g/t gold from 30.0 m in DDRGCC-24-001, including 37.9 m of 2.05 g/t gold from 98.5 m.
Since the discovery drill hole in late 2021, Sitka has exceeded the 100 gram/meter gold mark in a total of 22 (!) drill holes. Only nine of these holes are part of the initial resource calculated in early January 2023. The other 13 drill holes with more than 100 gram/meters are outside the resource, strongly indicating its growth. The top value was achieved by drill hole DDRCCC-24-068 with 705.2 gram/meters of gold. With these results, the mineralized system of the Blackjack deposit is now expanding far beyond the extent of the first resource reported in January 2023.
This year, the company conducted drilling over 9,264 meters, focusing on expanding the Blackjack Zone, and also completed the first diamond drilling in the Rhosgobel and Pukelman intrusions, intersecting significant gold mineralization in all targeted intrusions. As with the Blackjack discoveries, visible gold was observed in the very first diamond drill holes in the Rhosgobel and Pukelman intrusions, located about 5 km south and 2.5 km southeast of the Blackjack deposit respectively, demonstrating the extent and robustness of gold mineralization in the Clear Creek Intrusive Complex.
Cor Coe, Director and CEO of Sitka Gold, commented: “Our work at RC Gold over the past year continues to demonstrate the enormous potential of this property for large, economic gold resources. The results from 2024 have highlighted the ongoing and strong gold values present across multiple targets on this project, with numerous occurrences of visible gold observed and several intercepts of over 100 gram-meters intersected in multiple drill holes at the Blackjack target and in our first drilling at the Rhosgobel and Pukelman intrusions. Drilling at RC Gold has now confirmed that potentially economically significant gold mineralization is present within four of the known gold-bearing intrusions explored to date in the Clear Creek Intrusive Complex, namely the Blackjack, Eiger, Rhosgobel, and Pukelman targets, demonstrating the exceptional potential of this gold system for multiple gold deposits of considerable size and high grade. The drilling has also substantially increased the potential tonnage of our Blackjack gold deposit and delivered some exceptional results, including our best intercept to date in hole 68, which returned 678.1 meters of 1.04 grams per tonne gold. Blackjack has produced many impressive drill intercepts since our discovery in late 2021, including twenty-two (22) intercepts grading over 100 gram-meters, 13 of which are outside the initial resource area, highlighting the growing size and grade potential of this gold deposit. With a fully funded 30,000-meter drill program planned for 2025, we look forward to building on the success of the past year as we aim to unlock additional value at RC Gold for our shareholders.”
Figure 1: Overview map showing multiple priority target areas within the recently consolidated Clear Creek Intrusive Complex with soil geochemical gold analyses. Drilling in 2024 focused on testing several targets, including resource expansion at Blackjack and initial diamond drilling at the Rhosgobel and Pukelman intrusions within this large mineralized system. All areas tested in 2024 intersected +100 g-m gold in drill holes, indicating potentially economic, reduced intrusion-related gold mineralization.

Conclusion: Considering that Sitka Gold has drilled only 72 diamond drill holes with a total length of about 25,136 meters since beginning its work in the Clear Creek Complex, it becomes clear how young Sitka Gold’s discovery really is. The initial resource of 1,340,000 ounces of gold was based on just 11,630 m of drilling in 34 holes, with 22 holes totaling 7,492 m from the Blackjack deposit. Nine of these Blackjack drill holes exceeded the 100 gram/meter mark, contributing to Blackjack’s lion’s share of 900,000 ounces to the resource. The fact that 13 additional drill holes outside the resource area have since yielded results of more than 100 grams/meter – including holes from the new Rhosgobel and Pukelman areas – shows the growth potential that Blackjack and the entire Clear Creek Complex have for the future. We look forward to the upcoming 2025 drilling season, during which Sitka is expected to more than double its previously drilled meters. 30,000 meters of drilling are planned for 2025. Almost the best part is that this drilling is already fully funded.
