Sitka Gold (TSX-V: SIG; FSE: 1RF; OTCQB: SITKF) reports fresh assay results from gold drilling in the Contact Zone of its 100% owned RC Gold Project in Yukon. The focus is on drill hole DDRCCC-25-113, which intersected an average of 1.01 g/t gold over 119.0 m from a depth of 15.0 m – including 10.7 m of 4.10 g/t gold, 1.2 m of 24.80 g/t gold, and 1.2 m of 12.25 g/t gold.
Additionally, Sitka Gold reported two more holes. DDRCCC-25-112 yielded 223.9 m of 0.34 g/t gold from 90.0 m and several higher-grade sub-intervals (including 6.0 m of 1.17 g/t and 3.9 m of 5.51 g/t gold). DDRCCC-25-111 delivered 20.0 m of 0.54 g/t gold from 295.0 m, including 2.0 m of 3.68 g/t gold. Visible gold (VG) was also repeatedly documented in the drill cores from this year’s campaign at the Contact target. As of now, a mineralized extent of approximately 900 × 650 meters is emerging – from the surface to about 430 m depth, open in all directions.
A look at the history underscores the relevance of the area: In 2010, a high-grade section of 1.5 m with 147.0 g/t gold was reported from CC10-022, approximately 335 m east of hole 113. Together with the current results, this strengthens the hypothesis of continuous, structurally controlled gold mineralization in the vicinity of the Contact and Pukelman zones.

RC Gold is located in the Clear Creek Intrusive Complex (CCIC) in the heart of the Tombstone Gold Belt, a region known for so-called “reduced intrusion-related gold systems” (RIRGS). Drilling in the Contact target area encounters broadly developed, highly altered metasediments, crosscut by quartz monzonite and biotite-feldspar-rich porphyry dikes. Characteristic features include centimeter-thick, foliated quartz veins, in which visible gold has been observed multiple times – often associated with arsenopyrite, bismuthinite, and subordinately scheelite.
Sitka Gold’s 2025 drilling program pursued three objectives: the expansion of the mineralized footprint of the Contact Zone, a better structural understanding through oriented core, and tests for the linkage between metasediment-hosted and intrusion-hosted mineralization in the Contact and Pukelman zones. Historical work from 2010/2011 had already demonstrated significant gold grades up to 450 meters south of the Pukelman intrusion – an indication that multiple host rocks and structures could contribute to the mineralization.
Program Status and Next Steps at Sitka Gold
Operationally, Sitka Gold was very active in 2025: Six diamond drill holes totaling 2,172 m were completed in the Contact Zone, and three holes totaling 1,876 m in the adjacent Pukelman area. Several assays are still pending for both sub-areas. Project-wide, analyses from 46 diamond drill holes from the Rhosgobel, Blackjack, Saddle, Eiger, Bear Paw, and MayQu targets are also pending. In total, approximately 32,000 meters of diamond drilling were completed at RC Gold this year – a scope that provides data-rich material for geological models and potential resource expansions.
Within the overarching 1.0 km × 1.5 km Contact-Pukelman gold-in-soil anomaly, this year’s work has so far focused on the core area. The mineralization remains open along strike and at depth. Sitka Gold plans to infill the gaps and test the open margins with further extension drilling. From a project development perspective, the near-surface sections – as in DDRCCC-25-113 – are particularly insightful because they address spatial continuity near the surface and refine the understanding of the structural and vein systems.
Significance for the RC Gold Project in Yukon
For Sitka Gold, the new data from the Contact Zone provide a clearer geological picture within the CCIC and set positive highlights for the current year. The >100 g/t·m from hole 113 – starting from near-surface – is a tangible metric derived from length × grade and thus a useful marker in target prioritization within the RC Gold Project. At the same time, the multiple higher-grade sub-intervals create starting points for follow-up drilling to better define the control of mineralization along the structural corridors.
We anticipate the next news impulse with the receipt of the outstanding drill results – from both Contact and Pukelman, as well as other areas within the Clear Creek Intrusive Complex. Until then, the current results paint a picture of an extensive, robust, and still open system that Sitka Gold continues to delineate with systematic drilling.
