After the historic peak in the year of the financial crisis in 2008, the platinum price continued to decline below the red trend line. For 10 years, the area between 800 and 900 USD always offered massive support – in addition, the slightly rising tops on the blue trend line indicated a coming turning potential.
The massive impulse of the last few days culminated at the start of the current week in a breakthrough through the 2000 mark (increase of about 130 USD) – with over 2100 US dollars, only about 5-6% are missing to the all-time high.
