Extremely Promising Development
Juggernaut Exploration (JUGR.V / FSE: 4JE) has encountered a horizon with strong sulfide mineralization in the drill holes of all six drill stations drilled this now-completed season on the Midas property in the Golden Triangle, consistent with the mineralization typically observed near an Eskay-type VHMS (Volcanogenic Hosted Massive Sulphide) system.
The drilling is distributed over a total strike length of approximately 700 meters. In particular, the Juggernaut geologists believe they have discovered a new mineralized trend at a depth of about 145 meters, consisting of significant sulfide mineralization with an average thickness of 10 meters. This horizon extends over 450 meters from the Kokomo occurrence southward. A second part of the mineralized horizon, branching off from the main trend, extends 200 m in a southeastern direction. Visually, the drill core sections are comparable to the surface chip samples from Kokomo (9,343 gpt Au, 117 gpt Ag, 1.58% Cu and 1.77% Zn), with laboratory assays still pending. The now completed 2024 drilling program has thus defined the most extensive mineralization observed on the Midas property to date.
Dan Stuart, President and CEO of Juggernaut Exploration, stated: “The extent and geometry of this newly discovered high-grade mineralization trend has exceeded the team’s expectations, and we look forward to expanding this trend in 2025 through additional drilling and geophysical surveys. We are eagerly anticipating the announcement of the assay results in the near future.”
The 2024 drilling program was completed with 2,738 m in 13 holes from 6 drill pads. All results are currently pending. The company plans a geophysical survey to determine the extent and geometry of the newly discovered Eskay-type VHMS mineralization zone as well as additional targets not yet known for 2025.
The drilling results, combined with results from previous years, indicate an extensive gold, copper, and zinc-bearing north-south mineralization trend that remains open. The gold and base metal component increases significantly towards the Kokomo occurrence, which is a clear indication of proximity to the core of a VHMS deposit.
Conclusion: Juggernaut is exploring only a small fraction of its 20,803-hectare Midas property 24 km southeast of Terrace, British Columbia. The fresh drill cores from Midas strongly indicate the potential for a new Eskay-style VHMS discovery. It’s understandable that Juggernaut CEO Dan Stuart is eagerly awaiting the laboratory analysis of the drill cores. Even now, Juggernaut can rightfully speak of a discovery.
