Goliath Resources: Silver, Copper, Zinc – Gold Equivalent Grades Increase total grades by +13.2%!

Visible gold in a sample from Goliath Resources

Goliath Resources (TSX-V: GOT; Germany FSE: B4IF) has released its first batch of the long awaited gold equivalent values (AuEq) for its Surebet discovery on the 100% controlled Golddigger property in the Golden Triangle (British Columbia). Specifically, according to the company, fully calculated AuEq grades are available for 54 of a total of 110 drill holes completed in 2025. The key point is that, in addition to gold, silver, copper, lead, and zinc are also included in the gold equivalent calculation – and, according to Goliath, these increase the reported total grades by an average (!) of 13.2% compared to the previously reported pure gold results.

This brings the Surebet discovery into focus as a multi-metal system more strongly. This can be relevant for exploration projects because gold equivalent values provide a more comprehensive view of the potential metal value of a drill section. At the same time, Goliath Resources emphasizes that the evaluation is not yet complete: Gold equivalent values for an additional 56 drill holes from the 2025 season are still pending but are expected to be published “in the near future.”

Goliath Resources: Gold-equivalent evaluation shows the contribution of silver, copper, lead and zinc

The update is the result of the 2025 drilling program, when Goliath completed a total of 110 drill holes at Surebet over a total length of 64,364 meters. The gold equivalent figures now reported relate to slightly less than half of these drill holes.

One example worth mentioning especially is drill hole GD-25-337 from the Golden Gate zone, where the company reports 10.83 g/t AuEq over 22.82 meters. Within this interval, there is, among other things, a section with 15.51 g/t AuEq over 15.71 meters; in turn, this section contains a high-grade portion of 38.71 g/t AuEq over 3.36 meters. Goliath Resources also points out that this section approximately corresponds to the true thickness.

The company also notes the frequency of visible gold visible to the naked eye. In the 2025 season, 83 of 110 drill holes (76%) contained visible gold; over all drilling years to date, this figure is 355 of 386 drill holes (92%)! At the same time, Goliath Resources emphasizes that every drill hole within the approximately 1.8 square kilometer Surebet discovery has intersected gold mineralization to date.

Five main zones and 46 lodes: the model becomes more detailed—Surebet remains open

IIn parallel with the gold equivalent evaluation, Goliath Resources has updated its geological model to include all 2025 data. According to this, the Surebet discovery is divided into five primary mineralized zones: Bonanza, Surebet, Golden Gate, Whopper, and Eldorado. According to the company, these areas together comprise 46 “gold-rich” lodes (ore veins or ore structures) and associated Eocene dykes, which Goliath says are part of a Reduced Intrusion Related Gold (RIRG) system.

Goliath Resources also provides size estimates and key sections for the zones: For example, the Golden Gate zone is reported to have a modeled extent of 1.3 km × 820 m × 14 m, with a key interval of 34.52 g/t AuEq over 39 m (from previous reports). For the Surebet Zone, the company cites 1.2 km × 930 m × 19 m with a key interval of 21.08 g/t AuEq over 23 m. Crucial for the further work plan: According to Goliath Resources, all zones are still considered “open” – i.e., not yet conclusively delineated in various directions.

Also interesting is the description that high-grade gold has been identified in three different host rock packages: (1) shallow-dipping, stacked quartz-sulfide breccias/stockwork veins, (2) gold-rich intermediate to felsic dykes, and (3) broader gold-bearing areas in calc-silicate altered breccia. Goliath Resources deduces from this that a magmatic “mother lode” source is suspected to be the causative intrusion nearby – a target that will be specifically tested in upcoming programs.

Fully funded 2026 program: expanding the zones and testing the “Motherlode” source

Goliath Resources has announced a fully funded drilling program for 2026 that will combine several objectives: to further expand the five main zones along the Surebet discovery, to test the suspected “motherlode” intrusion as a potential source of the system, and to expand on the mineralized zones. Roger Rosmus, Founder and CEO, particularly emphasizes the significance of the increase in gold equivalent grades: In his view, the average increase of 13.2% confirms that metals other than gold play a significant role in the evaluation of the drill sections.

The company also describes a model of the stacked veins, which are divided into groups with a southwest (“Surebet group”) and southeast (“Bonanza group”) dip. Both structures are said to converge in a “hinge zone” where, according to Goliath Resources, gold that is often visible to the naked eye has also been observed. In addition, the company is working on further geological studies in collaboration with the Colorado School of Mines to support the interpretation of ore formation and the planning of the next drilling season.

Another component is metallurgy: Goliath Resources refers to previous tests that are said to show gold recoveries of 92.2% via gravity and flotation at a grain size of 327 micrometers; according to this, 48.8% of the gold is already recoverable via gravity as “free gold” – without cyanide.

In the short term, however, the focus is primarily on the next data block: the gold equivalent results for the remaining 56 drill holes from 2025 are still pending. Only when these are published will a complete picture emerge of how the multi-metal component is distributed across the entire Surebet drilling campaign.
