Goliath Resources (WKN A2P063 / TSXV GOT) reports another series of high-grade hits from the Surebet discovery on its Golddigger property in the Golden Triangle (British Columbia) – the hit rate remains at 100%! And the discovery is still open for expansion in all directions.
Since drilling began in 2021, high precious metal values have been confirmed over a large area: 9 drill holes returned more than 200 grams*meter (gm) with a spectacular high of 1,346 gm, 11 drill holes yielded over 150 gm, 25 over 100 gm, 32 over 75 gm, and 63 over 50 gm. In total, the Surebet discovery has more than 400 drill holes covering approximately 1.8 km² – more than half the size of Central Park in New York!
Of particular note among the recently reported drill results is hole GD-25-365, which intersected 8.45 g/t gold over 7.13 m within 5.13 g/t gold over 12.00 m, including 17.20 g/t gold over 3.35 m. he section comes from a zone with strong quartz-sulfide veins in the andesite unit of the Bonanza Zone; it roughly corresponds to the actual thickness. Currently, only gold grades are being reported; gold equivalent values will be adjusted once silver, copper, lead, and zinc values are available. The hole is assigned to the northwest extension of the Bonanza Zone, where GD-22-96 (4.92 g/t gold over 3.7 m), GD-24-245 (4.14 g/t gold over 8 m), GD-24-263 (8.37 g/t gold over 6 m) and GD-24-273 (4.62 g/t gold over 8.9 m).
Goliath Resources Underpins Continuity of High-Grade Mineralization
Further new results confirm the continuity of high-grade mineralization: GD-25-360 averaged 6.47 g/t gold over 4.00 m within 2.66 g/t gold over 11.10 m; GD-25-358 returned two intervals (6.09 g/t gold over 5.00 m including 10.13 g/t gold over 3.00 m and 6.33 g/t gold over 4.10 m within 3.90 g/t gold over 7.00 m and in a larger section of 2.33 g/t gold over 12.00 m); GD-25-359 returned 6.38 g/t gold over 3.00 m within 5.09 g/t gold over 3.97 m; GD-25-354 returned 6.96 g/t gold over 3.43 m within 3.95 g/t gold over 6.58 m; and GD-25-350 averaged 5.01 g/t gold over 3.30 m from the Goldzilla Zone in the sandstone unit. All of these intersections are approximate true thicknesses. Only gold grades are reported, with gold equivalent also provided along with the results for silver, copper, lead, and zinc.
Geologically, a multiphase model supports the size of the system: Visible gold (VG-NE) has been identified in three different rock packages – in gently dipping, gold-rich stacked quartz-sulfide breccias/stockwork veins, in gold-rich intermediate to felsic Eocene RIRG veins, and in recently discovered, wide, gold-rich zones of calcium silicate altered breccias. The nature of the visible gold (fine to coarse-grained) in all three packages and the open extension underscore the likelihood of a deep magmatic source as the causative intrusion for the extensive, high-grade 1.8 km² system.
The 2025 drilling campaign is fully funded and Goliath plans to complete up to 60,000 m with nine drill rigs, with a clear focus on expanding the geometry of Surebet laterally and at depth. Notably, 100% of the holes completed at Surebet intersected significant quartz-sulfide mineralization, and 79% of the holes completed in 2025 show visible gold.
CEO and founder Roger Rosmus assesses the development accordingly: With each drill hole, the evidence for “one of the most significant high-grade gold discoveries in the Golden Triangle (since the spectacular discovery of Eskay Creek)” has grown stronger. “Grade is king,” he continued, but in the end, „it’s the combination of grade and continuity that counts.“ The heat map representation of the expansive VG-NE area (covering more than half of Central Park and about three times the height of the Empire State Building) illustrates this continuity and the resulting predictability. The team has now found visible gold in three rock packages – an indication of a long-lived, high-performance, multi-phase system with a large magmatic source below or lateral to the high-grade zones. In his view, Surebet is developing into a significant discovery “with the potential to one day become a mine.”
Conclusion: High grades over considerable thicknesses, an exceptional hit rate, and a clear growth strategy – the latest results support the image of the Surebet discovery as an extensive, high-grade, and above all consistent system that remains open and continues to offer significant discovery potential. We will continue to report, as Goliath still owes its shareholders a great deal of drilling results!
