  • Excellon Resources to more than triple drilling program at Silver City in 2021

Following successful test drilling last year, Excellon Resources Inc. (TSX:EXN, EXN.WT; NYSE:EXN; FRA:E4X2) plans to follow up with more than three times as much drilling this season at its Silver City project in Saxony. The company plans to drill a total of 12,000 meters, up from 3,700 meters last year. At that time, Excellon had drilled 16 test holes along a 24-kilometer strike and confirmed extremely high-grade silver values in some cases near historic mines. This year, the company plans to focus on four priority targets: Grey Wolf, Reichenbach, Bräunsdorf and Peter Vein. The relevant drilling permits have now been received. (see Figure 1)

  • Great expectations: AIS Resources Starts Drilling on Fosterville-Toolleen Gold Project

Australia's Fosterville Mine, owned by Kirkland Lake (TSX:KL), is considered one of the best addresses for high-grade gold deposits in the world. The mine may have played no small part in the Canadian gold producer's phenomenal resurgence since 2015. Fosterville is rightly considered an exceptional project: after decades of successful production, the mine still has 2.6 million ounces of resources with average grades close to one ounce.

  • Sitka Gold Corroborates Carlin Hypothesis at the Alpha Gold Project

Sitka Gold Corp. (CSE: SIG) (FSE: 1RF) has confirmed through fine chemical analysis 4 primary pathfinder elements from the two drill cores on its Alpha Gold Project in Nevada. These are the same elements that are typically found in Carlin-type gold deposits.

  • Group Ten Metals Plans Largest Exploration Program to Date at Stillwater West

Group Ten Metals Inc. (TSX.V: PGE; FSE: 5D32) is launching the largest drilling and exploration program in its history at the PGE-Ni-Cu-Co+Au polymetallic Stillwater West project in Montana this season. To expedite and expand that program, the company today announced a CAD 4 million financing to be placed through Canaccord and Research Capital. The price per share unit is CAD 0.40. Subscribers will also receive a 2-year warrant with an exercise price of CAD 0.55. This is the brokered deal the company has done and it should add significant, quality institutional money to the Group Ten shareholder base.

  • Searchlight Resources secures Gold asset with 75 historic drill holes

In the purchase lies the profit. Following this old merchant's rule, Searchlight Resources Inc. (TSXV: SCLT, FRA:2CC2) under its CEO Stephen Wallace has already secured hundreds of square kilometers of exploration ground in Saskatchewan for the proverbial "peanuts". Now Searchlight is adding a comparatively small property to its portfolio, but one that has all the more history. From private hands, Searchlight has secured the high-grade Robinson Creek gold project in the Flin Flon mining camp. Included in the package are results from 75 historic drill holes, dating from 1946 to 1989. Among them are results that would certainly get a lot of attention these days. Stephen Wallace mentions as the first highlight of Searchlight's data analysis a 55 metre intercept of 2.50 g/t gold in hole 81-1, which starts at a depth of only 22 metres. (see table). At the time, only the small, high-grade intercepts were targeted.

  • Group Ten Metals sees rhodium as an important component of the upcoming inaugural resource estimate

Largely unnoticed by the general public, rhodium has been beating gold's performance for a long time and by a wide margin: in the past five years, rhodium, considered the "most precious of the platinum metals," has increased in price by a staggering 4,000 percent. The economic effect for platinum producers is now immense, although rhodium is still a pure by-product in terms of volume, often mined at grades of less than 0.1 g/t. Among the market-leading platinum producers in South Africa, it is estimated that rhodium already accounts for 40 percent of sales, with just 8 percent of output. That was the reason for Group Ten Metals Inc. (TSX.V: PGE; FRA: 5D32) to thoroughly investigate the rhodium grades at its PGE Ni-Cu-Co + Au Stillwater West project in Montana, USA. In total, Group Ten plans to re-assay 4,000 drill cores from various parts of the deposit. Today, the company presented a first interim report of its analyses.

  • Sitka Gold Confirms Carlin Style Gold at Alpha Gold in Nevada

The Sitka story in Nevada is alive and well: Sitka Gold Corp. (CSE: SIG; FRA: 1RF) has just released the highly anticipated results from its two drill holes at the Alpha Gold project in Nevada. Both holes AG21-02 and AG21-03 have long intercepts of up to 100 meters with anomalous gold grades, however the gold grades are only in the range of fractions of a gram.

  • Ready Set Gold follows up with strong results on Northshore

Shares of gold explorer Ready Set Gold Corp. (CSE: RDY; FRA: 0MZ) have been in an almost continuous decline since its initial public offering at $0.60 CAD last December. Just a few days ago, the stock could be picked up for less than CAD 0.20. Accordingly, the market valued the 1.2 million historical ounce resource at the Northshore Project at less than CAD 10 million! The tide may now be turning following the release of the second half of a total of 13 drill holes at Northshore.

  • This Junior Gets Ever Closer to Becoming a Gold Producer

Sonoro Gold - a Bargain Priced Low Risk Gold Mine Developer with Big Profit Potential

  • Sonoro Gold erbohrt hochgradige Goldzonen – etwas Großes entsteht!

  • Group Ten: 2020 drill results confirm world-class potential at Stillwater West

The pros have long had Group Ten Metals Inc. (TSX.V: PGE; FRA: 5D32) on the radar: The company has attracted the attention of major international mining groups who want a behind-the-scenes look at Group Ten's polymetallic Ni-Cu-Co PGE project, Stillwater West. Today's news - an initial summary of last year's drilling at the project - again underlines why these groups are so interested. The world-class special status of this large-scale project for battery metals in the USA is becoming increasingly clear - and this despite the fact that not even an initial resource has been published yet. Group Ten now wants to deliver this in the middle of 2021, taking into account the drillings that have just been published. By then at the latest, the broad market should also recognise the potential.

  • Excellon Resources gives silver mining in Freiberg, Saxony a new chance

Is Germany perhaps sitting on a huge silver treasure that so far has been overlooked? Is there perhaps even a chance that the silver occurences near Freiberg in Saxony could one day play in one league with Mexican deposits? The Canadian silver producer Excellon Resources (TSX: EXN; FRA: A1XDB7) believes in this possibility and wants to give silver mining at Freiberg a second chance.
