Die Surebet-Entdeckung von Goliath Resources (TSXV: GOT; FRA: B4IF) wächst rasant in alle Richtungen. In einer Step-Out-Bohrung, 600 Meter vom ersten Bohrplatz entfernt, hat auch die insgesamt sechste Bohrung auf dem Projekt einen bedeutenden Abschnitt mit Mineralisierung durchteuft. Der gemeldete Bohrabschnitt mit Quarz-Sulfid-Adern ist 61,5 Meter lang. Von Bedeutung ist, dass es sich um die erste Bohrung von einer neuen Bohrplattform (North Pad) handelt, die 600 Meter von der ersten Bohrplattform (Cliff-Pad) entfernt aufgestellt wurde.

Golden Goliath continues to drill the large IP anomaly on the north shore of Beauregard Lake called the whale anomaly, with drill hole K21-23 being completed on line 2000E to a depth of 152m. A 3m core length of massive and bedded sulphides was intersected with pyrite, minor chalcopyrite and pyrrhotite. This intersection is at the same depth as the sulphide zone in drill hole K21-22 at 120-124m, or 60m below surface. The intercepts are 200m or 660 feet apart on strike and in a zone parallel to the Pakwash Fault. Thin rhyoliite zones have been noted in K21-23 on the south side of the sulphide zone which itself is hosted in basalt. Both sulphide intercepts were guided by the strong metal factor anomaly that resulted from the sharp low resistivity of 10 ohm metres.

Golden Goliath has now drilled five different sectors of this 10 km long Kwai property testing different types of shears and faults that parallel the Pakwash Fault. These areas represent possible sources of gold grains found in the glacial till across the property (Figure 4). The last two areas that were drilled involved 5 holes, (K21-17 to 21), on the south shore of Beauregard Lake that tested IP anomalies generated this winter from a survey of the ice covered lake. The other 3 holes (Figure 3) on the north shore (also generated by the lake ice IP program) have started to test a very strong IP anomaly following the north shore of the lake, now labeled as the Whale anomaly. The Company is planning further drilling on this target, including a hole on line 1600E and a deeper hole undercutting hole drill hole K21-24. Another hole between holes K21-22 and K21-23 is being considered depending on multi element assays that are pending.

Golden Goliath Resources is pleased to report that the IP survey run from the frozen surface of Beauregard Lake has now been completed after experiencing delays due to -40 C temperatures. A new set of IP anomalies has been discovered along the north edge of the lake following the Pakwash Fault trend. These are stronger than all previous anomalies. They sit in a unique resistivity setting totally different than any previous anomaly seen along the fault. This particular set of anomalies can be reached by drilling from shore as they are within 50m of the north shore of the lake (Fig 2), and occur on lines 1400E, 1600E, 1800E and 2000E along the north shore of the lake.

Golden Goliath Resources has been carrying out a number of exploration approaches on the Kwai property in Red Lake this winter. This includes IP surveys on the ice of Beauregard Lake, lake sediment sampling of the lake bottom and drilling east of the lake on the strongest IP anomalies found to date on the property. Although the IP survey on the lake ice is not yet completed, one of the newest discoveries has been IP anomalies found within the felsic tuff volcanic sediment sequence seen outcropping on the shore of Beauregard Lake. These rocks have not been encountered in any previous drilling but may be the equivalent of the felsic volcanics and sediments found to the north on the Great Bear Dixie property. Two IP trends have been found so far in the lake IP survey. One follows the anomalies along the Pakwash Fault and the other is located in the felsic tuffs on the south shore of the lake. Both of these anomaly trends can be reached by drilling from the shore with each trend being in the order of 50m from shore. Permits to drill from the ice have also been received as well as from sites along the shore line giving flexibility on how to test these zones. IP surveying will continue on six more lines later this week after temperatures return to more normal levels and the machinery, instruments and people work better.

Golden Goliath Resources Ltd. has now resumed drilling on its Kwai property in the Red Lake District, northwest Ontario. The drill is currently completing the first hole of the 2021 session, which is the 15th hole of the entire program. This drill hole (K21-15), located on Line 4900E (Figure2), is one of many that will test the strongest IP anomalies on the East Grid, which lie just south of the Pakwash Fault.
